What is a joint recital?
It is a joint concert where each performer (group or solo) performs one piece. If you are hesitant to give a full 45-minute recital, this one’s for you. We expect this group recital will be even more multicultural since the conference is in Japan. So the theme for the newest joint recital option is “Music of my country” so performers can showcase the uniqueness of their home country. If you’re a Japanese player, you may perform a piece written by Japanese composer or a piece that uses Japanese traditional melodies, etc. Suggested length of pieces is 8-10 minutes. You may use an IWBC accompanist for this recital as well. (7000 yen including one 40-minute rehearsal).
